Effective date: 13 August 2026

Ritam Finance Pty Ltd (ABN 64 646 803 705, "Ritam Finance", "we", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). This policy explains how we collect, use, store and disclose personal information through this website and in the course of providing our outsourced finance, accounting, payroll and business systems services.

  1. Information we collect. We may collect personal information such as your name, email address, phone number, company name and the details of any enquiry when you fill in a contact form, book a consultation, or otherwise communicate with us. Where you engage us as a client, we also collect the financial, accounting, payroll and business information reasonably required to deliver our services, as agreed in your engagement letter.

2. How we collect information. We collect information directly from you through this website's contact and booking forms, by email, phone or in person, and, for clients, through the accounting and business systems (such as Xero or Odoo) used to deliver our services. Like most websites, we may also collect limited technical information automatically, such as browser type and pages visited, to help us maintain and improve the site.

3. How we use your information. We use personal information to respond to enquiries, arrange and conduct consultations, deliver and administer our services, meet our legal and compliance obligations, and, where appropriate, to send you information about our services that you may reasonably expect. We do not use client financial information for any purpose beyond delivering the services agreed with you.

4. Disclosure of information. We do not sell personal information. We may disclose information to trusted third-party service providers who help us operate our business and deliver our services, such as website hosting providers, accounting and practice-management platforms (including Xero and Odoo), video-conferencing providers used for consultations, and, where relevant and with your knowledge, your own external tax agent, BAS agent or adviser. Some of these providers may store or process data outside Australia; where this occurs, we take reasonable steps to ensure your information continues to be handled in line with the Australian Privacy Principles. We otherwise only disclose personal information where required or authorised by law.

5. Data security. We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect the personal information we hold from misuse, interference, loss, and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure, including restricting access to information to personnel who need it to perform their role.

6. Access and correction. You may request access to the personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate, out of date or incomplete, by contacting us using the details below. We will respond within a reasonable time.

7. Cookies. This website may use cookies or similar technologies to support core functionality and to understand how the site is used. You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings, though some parts of the site may not function as intended if you do so.

8. Complaints. If you have a concern about how we have handled your personal information, please contact us first using the details below so we can try to resolve it. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.
